What exactly is the SDS exam?

The SDS (Schweizerischer Digitaler Sprachtest) is a digital, adaptive language test recognized across Switzerland for citizenship, C-permits, and B-permits. It tests speaking, writing, reading, and listening — and gives you an official certificate within 3 working days..

Do I need B1 for my permit?

It depends. For the C-permit, many cantons require oral A2 and written A1. For Swiss citizenship, you typically need oral B1 and written A2. During onboarding, we’ll clarify exactly what you need.

What level do I need to join?

You should already speak German at A2 level minimum. This program isn’t designed to teach German from scratch — it takes your existing German and makes it exam-ready. Before joining, you’ll send a short audio so we can make sure it’s the right fit.

Does this cover all four parts of the exam?

he 6-week core program focuses on speaking — the part where most people feel least confident and where targeted preparation makes the biggest difference. Writing is available as an optional add-on. For reading and listening, we provide orientation materials and tips — at A2/B1 level, these parts are generally manageable with the German you already have.

How much time do I need per week?

About 2–3 hours: reviewing the workbook, recording your audio practice, and engaging in the WhatsApp group. Live sessions are about 60 minutes each. Everything is designed to fit around a full work schedule.

What if I need more individual attention?

The VIP option includes a dedicated 1:1 session with in-depth personalized feedback. If you need more extensive individual preparation, we can discuss a custom package.

When does the next group start?
